Taking inspiration from the Genesis 6-14 narrative, I wrote these songs in imagining those stories through their eyes. Borrowing from ancient parallel or counter stories be it from the book of Enoch, The Epic of Gilgamesh and other writings largely linked to the research of Gary Wayne's work on the subject, I hoped to convey a story colored by the devastation and finding hope in its resolution.
